Beatrice Kasanda Themu is a Nurse Midwife who has worked with MSF-France as a nurse team leader, where she has done both testing and counseling. In 2020, she joined Malawi’s Ministry of Health as a Nurse and Midwife. She has also worked as a Research Assistant for TRUE Malawi and Partners in Health, which sparked her interest in working with the community.
In 2024, Beatrice joined AHA as a Program Coordinator where she manages and coordinates AHA activities, monitors programs, and ensures timely and efficient implementation of project activities. She works with local and international volunteers and strives to maintain a good working relationship with all the stakeholders.
Her goal in community health is to improve equity in access to quality health services.
