AHA partners with Malawi’s Ministry of Health to bring resources, medical experts, and trainings to Kamuzu Central Hospital, Kabudula Community Hospital, & Mitundu Community Hospital.
Maternal and Infant Health Camps
AHA Partners with Kabudula Community Hospital to support to the Labour and Delivery ward. Currently, we have a Nurse Midwife who visits in April and October who works with the staff and provides Continuing Education sessions. We are expanding this team to include OBGYN’s, gynecological surgery, and neonatal providers. Please contact us if you are interested in joining this team.
medical sponsorships
Patients with more complex diagnoses receive coordination and have all costs covered to ensure their medical and emotional needs are met.
visiting surgical consultants
Volunteers offer hands-on guidance and deliver lectures to medical students while completing complex surgeries and emergency procedures. This program addresses the shortage of trained surgeons & health care providers by connecting qualified international teams with local doctors, nurses, and ancillary staff.
