Efelo is a 44 year-old female who has lived with a goiter since 2007, consistently growing since that time. The goiter has caused difficulty swallowing and breathingome, dizziness, sweating, and weight loss.
Efelo’s thyroid tests came back normal so she was approved for surgery after xray and labwork were also done.
Efelo underwent surgery on May 5th and will return for a post-op exam before the end of the month.
Efelo is so happy to be free of the problem since it was becoming worse over the 15 years and she could not find help for it anywhere. She feared losing her life as breathing and eating were becoming more difficult. Now Efelo is okay and happy!
