John, a CRNA based in Hickory, NC, took his first trip to Malawi in 2025 as a part of Access Health Africa. Based on that experience, he plans on attending future camps as an anesthesia provider. Ultimately, his goal is to help AHA increase capacity to offer safe anesthesia through access to personnel, equipment and supplies.
