Amanda is a certified surgical technologist who has been a tech for 19 years. She is very versatile with her skills in surgery, meaning she can do a lot of services. She has a baby girl doodle named Millie Magnolia who is two and is her whole world. Amanda has a giving spirit and loves doing mission work. It all started for her years ago when she volunteered at a church on Thanksgiving Day to feed those in need, whether it be school systems who had orders for families because they didn’t have food at home or people being brought in from shelters. Being part of Access Health Africa’s mission has filled Amanda with so much joy - she absolutely loves it. Outside of AHA, Amanda had the opportunity to do another mission with Graystone Eye in 2025; they are another nonprofit organization that performs eye surgeries in Bolivia, which was pretty awesome. As Amanda says, “I am a mission girl.” It’s something that brings joy and happiness to her life, and she sees working with AHA as a true blessing.
