Back when students returned to school in September, Contine Investments donated 99 masks for distribution at Kabudula Community Day Secondary School! In partnership with World Altering Medicine, the masks were donated to recipients of the scholarship program. We often use Contine when we need to hire a car, and they are truly a generous company who gives back to the community.
In the past, Contine built a school block and distributed school uniforms at Nyama Full Primary School, has donated money to improve maternity wards throughout Malawi, and has hosted a volleyball tournament for inmates at Maula prison. Learn more about Contine’s great work here.
Thanks to those who purchased AHA branded masks, we’ve hired Takondwa, a tailor in Kabudula, to make 54 masks, all of which have been given out to patients of AHA! Every time someone buys an AHA branded mask from our shop (http://www.accesshealthafrica.org/swag), we are able to pay Takondwa to make TWO masks that we can then distribute!
The AHA branded masks were generously donated through 4imprint’s one by one program, so 100% of the proceeds benefit AHA’s patients and families!
