Camp Hope

Provides a life-altering opportunity for youth living with HIV in Malawi. Camp Hope responds to the burden of HIV/AIDS, one of the largest challenges to health in the nation, utilizing AHA's background in HIV-prevention education & youth programming. This is a residential summer camp, educating campers on their disease, providing drug therapy, and supporting the psychosocial needs of campers. Our goal is to empower our campers to lead their own self-care.

Addresses the shortage of trained surgeons & health care providers by connecting qualified western doctors, nurses, and ancillary staff with opportunities to share their expertise in Malawi.
